Advisory Council
For professional development expertise in the communities and to complement what we have going on with our schools, an Advisory Council has been formed.
These experts bring new perspectives and approaches to social emotional skill building and coaching.  We are currently creating multiple business tools so that
training can be delivered that best meets our corporate, parent, teacher and other adult community needs. Our council members are the following individuals:
Bill Burzynski is experienced in talent and performance management, leadership development, and organizational change management. He has worked
with corporations such as Motorola, WW Grainger, Southern Bell Telephone, Knight Ridder, DuPont, Bell South and Walgreens. Bill holds a Master’s
degree in human resource management and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in electrical engineering. His personal style is collaborative and oriented to
team effectiveness, yet he brings healthy candor and straight talk to problem solving, decision making and performance management.

Ed Dunkelblau, Ph.D., director of the Institute for Emotionally Intelligent Learning, has been a licensed clinical psychologist for 25 years. He is the
coach for the New Trier Township schools. His strength is in addressing problem-solving strategies with our schools and facilitating systemic change. Ed
can be contacted at teacheq@aol.com.

Grace Lichtenstein was born and raised in Chicago and recently moved back to the Midwest after spending 12 years in Alaska. While there, as a
licensed psychotherapist, she was part owner of a wellness clinic which incorporated alternative/complementary medicine techniques with
traditional psychotherapeutic methods. Grace also worked as a counselor in Alaska’s largest hospital as well as worked with Native Alaskans in the
Alaskan bush. Her previous career of 15 years was in office management. Through it all, she has learned that the secret to happiness is balance and
integrity in all areas of life: home, work, social and spiritual.

Kathryn Rychel, President of PeopleWorks Inc., has over 25 years in business management and organizational consulting for leadership development.
Kathy holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work (M.S.W.), is an experienced executive coach and mediator. Her expertise is in emotional
intelligence in the workplace, leader development program design, coaching, and behavior change.

Lynn Moore, M.Ed., has over 25 years experience as a counselor with Northbrook, Illinois’ District 27 and 28.  Lynn’s leadership in SEL/CE was integral
to her school  receiving the National Schools of Character Award.  She coaches our Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and Zion-Benton Township schools. Lynn
assists  organizations in developing and maintaining cultures which embody character and emotional intelligence. Lynn can be contacted at
skillsfortoday@yahoo.com.

Mary Ashton, Leadership Instructor and Executive Coach, facilitates highly experiential professional development programs on topics including emotional

In-Kind Sponsorship

In-kind donations raise awareness of our work and help to form and retain
partnerships with local businesses so they can be a part of making it ‘happen’
.

The intention is to partner with others to raise sustainable in schools and
communities.

Along with keeping our current sponsors, new sponsors are needed to show
support to their communities and to support events and functions pertaining to the
teach, empower AND model initiative.

We will then give back to them through advertising their business, inviting them to
workshops, and offering them resources that will help prepare them to work on
social and character skills with their staffs.

These wonderful partners have provided in-kind support to a number of various
workshops we have had throughout the years.  Please show your appreciation to
them!
